Thank you for choosing Closet Solutions Florida! Now it’s time to get ready for the installation. Carefully review the designs and signed contract for accuracy. If there are any changes please contact your designer immediately. Please note that installers construct each system as specified by the design of your signed contract. Changes may result in delays and increased cost.
First remove everything from your closet prior to the installation date. This is a good time to discard old cloths or shoes you will likely never wear again. CS Florida will be glad to take old cloths to Goodwill or Caring or Sharing at your request.
CS Florida makes an effort to complete the job in 1 day. We understand just how difficult it is to be without your Closet. We remove wire shelving at no charge and cover the holes created when removing the wire rods. CS Florida removes the wire from your property.
If you supply touch up paint our installers will touch up any marks remaining after spackling and sanding the walls. The closet touch up should not to be confused with a ceiling to floor paint job.
Closets with installed wood shelving require more work to remove than wire. CS Florida provides a “demo” service. The charge for this varies based on the amount of demo and size of the closet. Request a quote at the time of purchase. In general “demo” runs between $500.00 and $1,000.00 with the average price at $ 750.00. This service prevents our customers from having to shop around for a painter, saving you time and money.
It’s important to understand most custom closets do not include backing. This means you will see the wall between the shelves.
- Installers arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. Repair jobs may require afternoon arrival to patch or paint allowing overnight to dry.
- Reserve and clear out a work area in the garage or driveway.
- Please insure that the entry path is clear and safe.
- We will need to be able to drive on the driveway to unload.
- We suggest removing pictures from adjoining walls they can be shaken loose during installation.
If you need to re-schedule your installation, please contact our office at 850-714-3851 at least 48 hours if possible. The day before the installation your job is loaded onto our Vans for delivery to your home.
