At Closet Solutions Florida, we love designing custom closets so much that we decided to do a Closet Makeover Giveaway for Mother’s Day this year. Moms have a tough job sometimes, so we thought why not give one mom a brand new closet without the stress of another mess to clean? After a fun Facebook competition where users had to like, share, and tag a deserving mom, we came up with a winner! Kansas Pritts, a mother of four from Destin, Florida won not only a closet makeover but a shopping spree with Today’s Boutique.
Kansas is a local photographer who takes stunning portraits and has mastered the art of unique, and custom, photo shoots. Who better to have a CSF Custom Closet then a mom who understands the true value behind a personalized experience? We are thrilled to have the opportunity to redo a space for this deserving mother!
For this closet makeover we had our lead designer Bronwyn Landis come up with a neat and functional design for the new master closet in Kansas’s home. The result was a beautifully organized space, perfect for this mother who is always on the go. The installation gave the closet a variety of drawers, varying heights for apparel, and of course plenty of space to store all of Kansas’s gorgeous shoes!
The closet has a huge window looking into it that could not just be ignored. Bronwyn gave the space a bench with more storage space so that Kansas and her family can enjoy the natural light coming into the space and a little nook for trying on shoes or for the kids to sit.
The cabinetry chosen for this design is a beautiful shade of gray meant to bring out the grays in the wood paneling on the walls and the new floors that were recently installed throughout the master. For a Florida home, this color is not very common as the team at Closet Solutions Florida typically runs into the desire for white so this made for a fun change. The result? A cozy closet space with functionality for a woman who leads a busy lifestyle.
After seeing the finished product, Kansas is blown away by her new & improved closet.
“The space more than met my expectations! This was the perfect finishing touch to our master suite renovations and I could not be happier,” said Kansas of her thoughts on the space. Her favorite part? The abundance of hanging space! Kansas is thrilled to have so much space to store all of her, and her husband’s, clothing.
